Sargood on Collaroy

NDIS.

Sargood on Collaroy is proud to be part of The Royal Rehab Group, an NDIS Registered Provider.

Our provider number is 405002604.

If you are an NDIS participant, you may be able to request funding assistance to stay at Sargood on Collaroy for one of our Support Packages.

Sargood on Collaroy provides Short Term Accommodation and Assistance. We have three inclusive Support Packages which include accessible accommodation, daily living equipment, daily activity assistance and negotiated activities.

Funding assistance from the NDIS may also be available to cover extra costs beyond our package inclusions, such as extra therapy or training with our staff and extra hours of assistance with self-care activities.

As everyone’s circumstances are different we encourage you to speak with your Local Area Coordinator or Support Coordinator to discuss what may be covered for you by the NDIS.

Out of pocket expenses
There may be some out of pocket costs during your stay. You will need to cover the cost of all meals and incidentals. Any activities, courses and events where the cost is not covered by the Support Package will need to be paid for by you. These costs will be provided to you clearly when making a booking.

You can read more about the NDIS and Short Term Accommodation and Assistance here

Sargood on Collaroy

Inpatient Stay.

If you do not have access to insurance or are currently waiting for NDIS plans to be approved, Royal Rehab is offering a 2 night fully funded stay for inpatients on the Prince of Wales, Royal North Shore or Royal Rehab spinal cord injury units.

Whether you are an inpatient on the Prince of Wales, Royal North Shore or Royal Rehab spinal injury units, we recognise the challenges associated with long hospital stays. We see undeniable benefits for individuals and families who are given the opportunity to spend time away from the hospital to recover and reconnect in a different environment.

What you need to do?

  • Simply inform your team at the SIU that you would like to stay at Sargood, mentioning your preferred dates.
  • Request your team to review your medical clearance and weekend leave approval to ensure you are safe and able to leave the SIU.
  • Book your stay via the Sargood Booking Form and select "Inpatient Intro Stay Grant" when prompted.

Please note: Each spinal injury unit has a different policy about weekend leave. Generally, hospitals will only allow between 1-3 nights leave while you are an inpatient.
