NDIS Medium Term Accommodation (MTA).
What is Medium Term Accommodation?
Medium Term Accommodation (MTA) is an NDIS support that covers the cost of accommodation for up to 90 days while you’re waiting for a more permanent housing solution.
This may include:
- Awaiting home modifications
- Transitioning to Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)
- Moving between living arrangements
- Waiting for a suitable long-term placement
MTA ensures you have a safe and comfortable environment, so you’re not left without support during this period.
Who is MTA for?
You may be eligible for MTA if:
- You are an NDIS participant
- You have funding approved for Medium Term Accommodation
- You are unable to stay in your current living situation temporarily
- You’re waiting for long-term housing to become available
